FAT without objections for dosing stations provided for a power plant

This week, three dosing stations with seven FKM piston diaphragm dosing pumps with iReg intelligent control were inspected at our production site in Weingarten. These dosing pumps control and monitor themselves. They provide feedback on the current flow rate of the pump, operating status and failures.

For specific use in power plants, operators place high safety requirements on the equipment in order to protect operating personnel and the environment.

The project specific application was the dosing of sodium hypochlorite in a diluted aqueous solution. This solution is used to disinfect the power plant’s cooling water.

The power plant operators were looking for modern, dry-run safe, accurate and reliable dosing pumps. Our FKM dosing pumps with iReg intelligent control fulfil these requirements.

The dosing pumps are installed in a chemical-resistant protective cabinet. Spill protection in the event of a leak is provided not only by the transparent sliding doors, but also by the flexible, transparent partition curtains between the individual pumps of the dosing station.

A simple and safe visual inspection of the dosing station is also possible at any time.

The technical acceptance passed without any remarks. Nothing stands in the way of the trouble-free use of the dosing pumps in the power plant !
